Job Description:
A company is looking for a State and Local Tax Manager
(Remote).
Key Responsibilities:
Review state C-Corp income tax returns prepared by tax staff
Assist with planning and special projects
Establish relationships with tax personnel and mentor junior team
members
Required Qualifications:
Five plus years of relevant public accounting or corporate tax
experience
Experience in Big-4 public accounting firms is required
Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field; master's in
taxation or CPA/JD preferred
Willingness to travel to local client sites as needed
Deep knowledge of state and local tax laws and regulations
