If you are energized by the impact you can make at Tala, we'd love to hear from you!The Director, Global Treasury will be a strategic leader responsible for optimizing treasury operations across multiple legal entities, ensuring global liquidity optimization, robust FX risk management, and seamless banking integrations. This role will play a critical part in driving treasury innovation, implementing next-generation treasury management systems, and collaborating cross-functionally to enhance financial strategy and risk mitigation.The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in global payments, fintech, banking, or financial services, with a proven ability to navigate complex financial landscapes and drive operational efficiencies.What You'll Do

• Strategic Treasury & Liquidity Optimization
• Develop and execute a global liquidity and cash flow optimization strategy, including centralized liquidity management, dynamic short-term forecasting, and efficient cash deployment.
• Drive working capital management and yield enhancement strategies to maximize treasury returns.
• Collaborate with FP&A to ensure accurate forecasting and alignment with company growth objectives.
  • FX Risk Management & Hedging Strategy
  • Design and implement a strategic FX risk framework to mitigate currency exposure and optimize hedging costs.
  • Develop sophisticated FX hedging strategies to reduce financial volatility and align with business objectives.
  • Leverage technology to optimize currency conversion costs and improve real-time FX risk monitoring.
    • Treasury Innovation & Technology Integration
    • Spearhead the evaluation and implementation of next-generation Treasury Management Systems (TMS) with advanced automation, FX desk capabilities, and real-time banking integrations.
    • Partner with IT, service providers, and banking institutions to enhance API-driven treasury solutions for seamless reporting and payments.
    • Explore emerging technologies such as AI-driven forecasting, blockchain for cross-border payments, and digital wallets to elevate treasury efficiency.
      • Leadership & Strategic Advisory
      • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior management, providing data-driven insights on treasury strategy, risk mitigation, and capital allocation.
      • Lead cross-functional collaboration with Finance, FP&A, Accounting, and Compliance teams to align treasury initiatives with corporate objectives.
      • Identify opportunities for cost savings, automation, and process enhancements to ensure continuous treasury improvements.
        • Capital Market Strategy & Debt Management
        • Support treasury-related aspects of debt financing, lender relations, and loan compliance in partnership with the finance team.
        • Contribute to the development of capital market strategies, ensuring treasury's role facilitates business expansion and financial flexibility.
          • Regulatory Compliance & Risk Mitigation
          • Ensure treasury operations comply with global regulatory requirements, particularly for cross-border capital and FX transactions.
          • Establish robust banking access controls and payment governance frameworks to mitigate operational and fraud risks.What You'll Need
            • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or professional certifications (CTP, CFA) preferred.
            • Experience: 10+ years in treasury, including 5+ years in a senior leadership role managing global liquidity, FX risk, and banking relationships.
            • Industry Expertise: Strong background in fintech, global payments, banking, or financial services.
            • Treasury Mastery: Deep knowledge of cash management, FX hedging, capital allocation, and regulatory compliance.
            • Technology & Innovation: Proven track record in evaluating and implementing treasury management systems, API integrations, and AI-driven forecasting.
            • Strategic Vision: Ability to develop and execute forward-looking treasury strategies that support business expansion and capital efficiency.
            • Leadership Excellence: Strong team management, cross-functional collaboration, and executive-level advisory experience.
