• Employment Type: Travel**11/19 Start Date ONLY**- Unit: L&D- # L&D Beds: 19 beds with 3 c-section suites- # triage beds: 0- # births per day, per year: 60 births per month- Certs: BLS, NRP, ACLS, advanced fetal monitoring- Ratios: 1:1 or 1 :2, they follow AWOHNN guidelines- FHM System: Fetal link- EMR: Cerner power chart- Charge Nurse: Yes- Nurse Aides/OB tech: 1 scrub tech- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend- Call Requirement : Not required but helpful if they are willing to take- Holidays: 1 major, 1 minor in both winter and summer holidays- Scrub Color: Provided- Tele: GE monitors - Core Metrics- Vents: No- OB/Neonataologist in house: OB in house 24/7- IV Team: No- RT 24/7: Yes- Pharmacy 24/7: Yes- Shifts: 12 hr shifts, 0, 1- C-section experience required: Circulating c-sections is required, scrubbing preferred- Floating: Will have to float to postpartum- Floor specific orientation: 1-2 shifts- Common diagnosis / Types of patients: 14 weeks and above, high risk - preeclampsia, diabetes, infection, pre-term, abruption, substance abuse, no prenatal care- Additional Notes: travel experience is preferred, 2 years or more of experience in specialty, perm staff is very friendly and receptive to travelersUnited Staffing Solutions Job ID #771741.
