Our mission is to refresh and reintroduce the lifestyle of tea to the world, where guests can connect in a beautiful space and enjoy premium and diverse flavors of tea.This position is to lead the team at our very first flagship store location in the United States opening in Century City, CA at one of the most popular premier shopping malls.Shift Lead Responsibilities:

  • Manage People
    • Ensure the team is able to deliver high-quality and excellent customer service.
    • Ensure the team is able to deliver consistent product quality.
    • Able to train and follow up training progress of new Tea Barista Trainee in store.
    • Coach and correct Baristas by conducting On-Job-Training (OJT).
    • Must be available to participate in company's training when necessary.
    • Plan store schedule, to assign team member to specific shifts and duties. Monitor staff's attendance and punctuality from time to time.
    • Manage store staffing issues including staff discipline and performance reviews.
    • Supervise and ensure upselling/suggestive selling is practiced at all times and ensure each order is served to standard.
    • Able to handle customer's feedback properly and coach team members on making this right.
    • Responsible for store cash handling matters based on rules and regulations set forth by company.
    • Store Sales Performance
      • To be fully aware of sales performance and assist the Operations.
      • Assist in marketing & promotion activities.
      • Inventory Management
        • Ensure store inventory is arranged and managed properly.
        • Forecast Inventory usage and delivery.The Ideal Candidate will:
          • Love tea!
          • Have excellent communication skills.
          • Be a fast learner and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
          • Have the ability to work on weekends and holidays.
          • Work well as part of a team with strong work ethics.
          • Have prior Barista and Supervision experience.
          • Be willing to learn other responsibilities and ad-hoc assignments.
          • Be available to participate in company's training when necessary.Benefits:

            • Paid training.Experience and Skills You Will Need:
              • Barista experience: 1+ years (preferred).
              • Supervision / leadership experience: 1+ years (preferred).
              • Food Handling Certificate Needed (Company can assist).
              • Ability to read and interpret instructional documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals.
              • Ability to work a flexible schedule with retail hours, including day, evening, weekends, and/or holidays.
              • Ability to travel to other store locations or training facilities within a 30 mile radius.Essential Physical Requirements:
                • Position requires prolonged periods of standing/walking around store or department.
                • May involve reaching, crouching, kneeling and stooping.
                • Frequent use of computers and other technology, necessary to perform job functions, including handheld equipment, cash register and ability to process register transactions.
                • Frequently lift/move up to 25lbs.Shifts:
